Here will be posted little ways to ensure you stay virus free, ways to improve your computer.
Tips to Stay Virus Free
- Stay up to date with latest Windows Updates;
- Stay up to date on Latest Anti-Virus Scanners;
- Update your Virus Definition files as they come out ;
- Do anti-virus scans & Ad Aware Scans bi-weekly, if you come across something popping up on your computer GOOGLE its name and find out what it is and what it does;
- Do Not Open E-Mail attachments from unknown senders;
- install security patchs;
- use a firewall;
- avoid P2P & distributed file sharing i.e. Kazaa & Limewire;
- watch for virus hoaxes;
- do not click suspicious weblinks in Instant Messengers.

Other reasons for slow computers check it out!
- Somtimes but not all the time computers become slower as time progresses; Background Processes could be running, and using up resources in which your main programs need;
- you may have a fragmented hard disk drive;
- most of the time an upgrade of RAM may do the trick, anything less than 512MB you will see performace degredation;
- you may have old conflicting device drivers; after installing and un-installing various software programs, anti-virus programs and such you are leaving behind parts of the program.
Again GOOGLE these signs of slow computers, ask which background processes do I need to run my computer? or how to defrag my hard drive? or how much RAM do I need, and how to find out how much RAM I have?
